The Sunday Times article, “The Young Text and the Fleeting Performance.”

In 2018, I had the pleasure of writing about play-writing for The Sunday Times, on the lead up to their national writing award, The Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Award, and development opportunity. My article, “The Young Text and the Fleeting Performance,” investigates what it is like to give up control of a piece of writing when you are young and still forging a writing identity, and how the process of staging a piece is the process of giving up a certain amount of control.
